The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Pierce County Bears (Blackshear, GA) and the visiting Bradwell Institute Tigers (Hinesville, GA), saw Pierce County's volleyball squad beat Bradwell Institute by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Pierce County upgrades its record to 21-9 on the year. The Bears host Brantley County (Nahunta, GA) to play the Herons in a 2A Area 3 bout on Monday, October 10. The Herons go into the bout with a record of 0-19. Brantley County lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Toombs County (Lyons, GA)
The Tigers now own a 11-12 record.
