Maryland High School Volleyball - Howard can't hold off Marriotts Ridge

In Monday's league battle, the host Marriotts Ridge volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Howard Lions.

The (7-0) will now prepare for their battle against Wilde Lake (Columbia, MD). The Wildecats come into the Howard County battle with a 2-5 record. In their last battle, Wilde Lake nudged Oakland Mills (Columbia, MD), 3-1, in a league battle.

Next, the Lions encounter the Atholton Raiders (Columbia, MD) in a Howard County battle, on Tuesday, October 11. Howard will attempt to move on its 4-5 season record. The Raiders come into the battle with a 2-6 record after their 3-0 league loss to Centennial (Ellicott City, MD).
