The Volcano Vista Hawks (Albuquerque, NM) football routed the visiting West Mesa Mustangs (Albuquerque, NM), 49-12 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Hawks face the Los Lunas Tigers (Los Lunas, NM) in a non-league bout, on Monday, October 16. Volcano Vista will attempt to move on its 6-0 season record. The Tigers enter the bout with a 4-5 record after their 21-12 non-league loss to Piedra Vista (Farmington, NM).
The Mustangs (3-2) will now prepare for their bout against Highland (Albuquerque, NM). The Hornets enter the non-league bout with a 3-3 record. In their last bout, Highland was crushed by Hope Christian (Albuquerque, NM), 15-0, in a non-league bout.
