The Ellsworth Eagles topped the host Gardiner Tigers volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Eagles now have a 9-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Washington Academy for a non-league test on Thursday, October 12. Ellsworth will confront a Raiders team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Mount Desert Island (Mount Desert, ME). The Raiders record now stands at 1-4.
The Tigers (0-2) will now prepare for their test against Brunswick (Brunswick, ME). The Dragons enter the non-league test with a 0-3 record. In their last test, Brunswick was knocked off by Edward Little (Auburn, ME), 2-0, in a non-league test.
