In Tuesday's league battle, the host Alexander Spartans soccer squad scored a good 9-0 triumph over the Wellston Golden Rockets.
The Spartans (5-8) will now prepare for their battle against Marietta (Marietta, OH). The Tigers come into the non-league battle with a 12-1 record. In their last battle, Marietta thwarted Point Pleasant (Point Pleasant, WV), 6-1, in a non-league battle.
