In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host Mile High Academy Mustangs soccer squad scored a close 6-1 triumph over the Twin Peaks Charter Academy Timberwolves.
The Mustangs (2-7) will now prepare for their battle against Rocky Mountain Lutheran (Denver, CO). The Eagles come into the 2A Metro Hills East battle with a 0-10 record. In their last battle, Rocky Mountain Lutheran was overwhelmed by Twin Peaks Charter Academy (Longmont, CO), 7-3, in a non-league battle.
The Timberwolves (2-9) will now prepare for their battle against Loveland Classical (Loveland, CO). The Lions come into the 2A Metro Hills West battle with a 8-3 record. In their last battle, Loveland Classical nudged Front Range Baptist (Fort Collins, CO), 5-0, in a league battle.
