Minnesota High School Volleyball - Wadena-Deer Creek can't hold off Alexandria

In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host Alexandria Cardinals volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines.
The Cardinals (11-6) will now prepare for their battle against Marshall (Marshall, MN). The Tigers come into the non-league battle with a 18-3 record. In their last battle, Marshall nudged Redwood Valley (Redwood Falls, MN), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Wolverines encounter the New York Mills Eagles (New York Mills, MN) in a Park Region battle, on Thursday, October 12. Wadena-Deer Creek will attempt to advance on its 13-7 season record. The Eagles come into the battle with a 10-12 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Parkers Prairie (Parkers Prairie, MN).
