The South Lafourche Tarpons volleyball team (Galliano, LA), was dropped 3-0 in Tuesday's league challenge with the visiting Assumption Mustangs (Napoleonville, LA)
The Mustangs (14-13) will now prepare for their challenge against A.J. Ellender (Houma, LA). The Patriots enter the Division II District 5 challenge with a 10-13 record. In their last challenge, A.J. Ellender was dropped by Riverdale (Jefferson, LA), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Tarpons meet the South Terrebonne Gators (Bourg, LA) in a Division II District 5 challenge, on Thursday, October 12. South Lafourche will attempt to move on its 10-17 season record. The Gators enter the challenge with a 6-13 record after their 3-0 league win over East St. John (Reserve, LA).
