In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host Whitney RVT Owls volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Bassick Lions.

The Owls (8-3) will now prepare for their battle against O'Brien RVT (Ansonia, CT). The Condors come into the Connecticut Technical battle with a 7-6 record. In their last battle, O'Brien RVT achieved victory over Bullard-Havens (Bridgeport, CT), 3-2, in a league battle.

Next, the Lions clash with the Notre Dame Catholic Lancers (Fairfield, CT) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, October 11. Bassick will attempt to advance on its 1-8 season record. The Lancers come into the battle with a 4-8 record after their 3-0 league loss to Joel Barlow (Redding, CT).
