In Tuesday's league battle, the visiting Heartland Christian Crusaders volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Deerfield Spartans.
The Crusaders (3-5) will now prepare for their battle against Greeley County (Tribune, KS). The Jackrabbits come into the non-league battle with a 23-5 record. In their last battle, Greeley County lost by Wallace County (Sharon Springs, KS), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Spartans clash with the Wichita County Indians (Leoti, KS) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, October 14. Deerfield will attempt to advance on its 7-17 season record. The Indians come into the battle with a 21-10 record after their 2-0 league win over Stanton County (Johnson, KS).
