The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Salmen Spartans (Slidell, LA) and the host Franklinton Demons (Franklinton, LA), saw Salmen's volleyball squad beat Franklinton by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Salmen upgrades its record to 9-7 on the year. The Spartans host South Plaquemines (Buras, LA) to play the Hurricanes in a non-league bout on Thursday, October 12. The Hurricanes go into the bout with a record of 2-12. South Plaquemines lost 3-2 in their recent league bout against Jefferson RISE Charter (Harvey, LA)

The Demons now own a 4-8 record. They play next when they host Independence for a non-league bout on Monday, October 23.
