The Gering Bulldogs volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Gordon-Rushville Mustangs to 0 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Bulldogs now have a 18-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Scottsbluff for a B District 8 game on Thursday, October 12. Gering will meet a Bearcats team coming off a 2-0 league win over Alliance (Alliance, NE). The Bearcats record now stands at 21-9.

The Mustangs (15-10) will now prepare for their game against Rapid City Christian (Rapid City, SD). The Comets enter the non-league game with a 28-5 record. In their last game, Rapid City Christian gained a win over Hot Springs (Hot Springs, SD), 3-0, in a league game.
