In Tuesday's league battle, the host Pine Island Panthers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Lourdes Eagles.
The Panthers (19-6) will now prepare for their battle against Kasson-Mantorville (Kasson, MN). The Komets come into the Hiawatha Valley battle with a 18-4 record. In their last battle, Kasson-Mantorville defeated Lake City (Lake City, MN), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Eagles encounter the Wabasha-Kellogg Falcons (Wabasha, MN) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, October 12. Lourdes will attempt to move on its 4-14 season record. The Falcons come into the battle with a 4-19 record after their 3-0 league loss to Rushford-Peterson (Rushford, MN).
