In Tuesday's league contest, the St. Mary's Academy Cougars (New Orleans, LA) volleyball squad were winner over the host Lutheran Gryphons (Metairie, LA), by a margin of 3-0.
Next up, the Cougars face the Crescent City Christian Pioneers (Metairie, LA) in a Division V District 8 contest, on Thursday, October 12. St. Mary's Academy will attempt to better on its 4-7 season record. The Pioneers go into the contest with a 18-13 record after their 3-0 league win over Ecole Classique (Metairie, LA).
With the loss, Lutheran moves to 1-8 on the year. The Gryphons host Christ Episcopal School (Covington, LA) to face the Wildcats in a Division V District 7 contest on Tuesday, October 17. The Wildcats go into the contest with a record of 12-8.
