The Mayville-Portland-Clifford-Galesburg Patriots prevailed the host North Border co-op [Walhalla/Pembina] Eagles volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Patriots now have a 13-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hatton/Northwood for a B - Region 2 test on Thursday, October 12. Mayville-Portland-Clifford-Galesburg will confront a Thunder team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Cavalier (Cavalier, ND). The Thunder record now stands at 3-4.
The Eagles (4-9) will now prepare for their test against Drayton/Valley-Edinburg (Drayton, ND). The Titans enter the non-league test with a 5-14 record. In their last test, Drayton/Valley-Edinburg gained a win over Benson County [Leeds/Maddock] (Leeds, ND), 3-1, in a non-league test.
