In Tuesday's league battle, the visiting MOC-Floyd Valley Dutchmen volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the West Lyon Wildcats.
The Dutchmen (15-9) will now prepare for their battle against Central Lyon (Rock Rapids, IA). The Lions come into the Siouxland battle with a 12-8 record. In their last battle, Central Lyon lost by Dakota Valley (North Sioux City, SD), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Wildcats clash with the Sioux Center Warriors (Sioux Center, IA) in a Siouxland battle, on Thursday, October 12. West Lyon will attempt to advance on its 15-5 season record. The Warriors come into the battle with a 15-8 record after their 3-0 league win over Okoboji (Milford, IA).
