In Tuesday's league battle, the visiting Pella Dutch volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Newton Cardinals.
The Dutch (18-16) will now prepare for their battle against Bondurant-Farrar (Bondurant, IA). The Bluejays come into the non-league battle with a 15-13 record. In their last battle, Bondurant-Farrar achieved victory over Humboldt (Humboldt, IA), 3-1, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Cardinals encounter the Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs (Dallas Center, IA) in a Little Hawkeye battle, on Thursday, October 12. Newton will attempt to advance on its 13-11 season record. The Mustangs come into the battle with a 15-11 record after their 3-0 league win over Pella Christian (Pella, IA).
