The Sipsey Valley Bears volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Sweet Water Bulldogs to 0 in the Bears non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Bears now have a 20-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host University Charter for a non-league game on Thursday, October 12. Sipsey Valley will confront a Trail Blazers team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Choctaw County (Butler, AL). The Trail Blazers record now stands at 26-4.

The Bulldogs (9-5) will now prepare for their game against Southern Choctaw (Gilbertown, AL). The Indians enter the 1A Area 5 game with a 9-5 record.
