The Sutherlin Bulldogs volleyball team (Sutherlin, OR), went down 3-1 in Tuesday's league challenge with the visiting South Umpqua Lancers (Myrtle Creek, OR)

The Lancers (9-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Cascade Christian (Medford, OR). The Challengers come into the 3A Far West challenge with a 17-4 record. In their last challenge, Cascade Christian defeated Rogue River (Rogue River, OR), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs encounter the Lakeview Honkers (Lakeview, OR) in a 3A Far West challenge, on Thursday, October 12. Sutherlin will attempt to move on its 6-11 season record. The Honkers come into the challenge with a 10-6 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Henley (Klamath Falls, OR).
