The Abington Heights Comets (Clarks Summit, PA) football trounced the visiting Wallenpaupack Area Buckhorns (Hawley, PA), 41-0 in Thursday's league outing.

The Comets now sport a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Scranton for a Lackawanna 1 outing on Friday, October 18. Abington Heights will clash with a Knights squad coming off a 21-3 league loss to North Pocono (Covington Township, PA). The Knights record now stands at 5-3.

With the defeat, Wallenpaupack Area drops to 3-5 on the campaign. The Buckhorns travel to Pittston (Pittston, PA) to clash with the Patriots in a non-league outing on Friday, October 18. The Patriots come into the outing with a record of 2-6. Pittston lost 20-14 in their recent league outing against Hazleton Area (Hazleton, PA)
