With the win, Aspermont advances its record to 4-3 on the season. The Hornets travel to Lueders-Avoca (Avoca, TX) to play the Raiders in a 1A 6 Man 2 Region II District 8 (6 Man) battle on Thursday, October 17. The Raiders go into the battle with a record of 0-5. Lueders-Avoca lost 54-8 in their recent non-league battle against Trent (Trent, TX)

The Bobcats now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they host Jayton for a 1A 6 Man 2 Region II District 8 (6 Man) battle on Friday, October 18. Rule will play a Jaybirds team coming off a 56-6 league win over Paint Creek (Haskell, TX). The Jaybirds record now stands at 7-0.
