The crowd at Thursday's league contest between the Blanchard Lions (Blanchard, OK) and the host Tecumseh Savages (Tecumseh, OK), witnessed Blanchard's football squad knock off Tecumseh by a tally of 34-7.

The Lions (6-0) will now prepare for their contest against Ardmore (Ardmore, OK). The Tigers enter the 4A District 2 contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Ardmore gained a win over Madill (Madill, OK), 42-6, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Savages battle the Tuttle Tigers (Tuttle, OK) in a 4A District 2 contest, on Thursday, October 17. Tecumseh will attempt to better on its 3-3 season record. The Tigers enter the contest with a 6-0 record after their 42-19 league win over Bethany (Bethany, OK).
