New York High School Football - Colonie Central nudges Guilderland

October 10, 2024: Albany, NY 12205

The crowd at Thursday's league contest between the Colonie Central Raiders (Albany, NY) and the visiting Guilderland Flying Dutchmen (Guilderland Center, NY), witnessed Colonie Central's football squad edge Guilderland by a count of 28-27.

The Raiders (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Schenectady (Schenectady, NY). The Patriots enter the Section 2 AA contest with a 0-6 record. In their last contest, Schenectady was nudged by Shenendehowa (Clifton Park, NY), 56-6, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Flying Dutchmen confront the Saratoga Springs Blue Streaks (Saratoga Springs, NY) in a Section 2 AA contest, on Friday, October 18. Guilderland will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Blue Streaks enter the contest with a 5-1 record after their 29-0 league win over Albany (Albany, NY).
