The Mae Jemison Jaguars edged the host Decatur Red Raiders football team by a score of 28-21 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Jaguars face the Buckhorn Bucks (New Market, AL) in a 6A Region 8 challenge, on Friday, October 18. Mae Jemison will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Bucks enter the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 36-21 league loss to Southside (Gadsden, AL).
The Red Raiders (2-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Cullman (Cullman, AL). The Bearcats enter the 6A Region 7 challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Cullman held off Columbia (Huntsville, AL), 61-6, in a league challenge.
