California High School Football - Western defeated by El Modena

In Thursday's league game, the El Modena Vanguards (Orange, CA) football team were victorious over the host Western Pioneers (Anaheim, CA), by a tally of 56-27.

In their next game, the Vanguards face the Tustin Tillers (Tustin, CA) in a Delta game, on Thursday, October 17. El Modena will attempt to better on its 7-0 season record. The Tillers enter the game with a 6-1 record after their 35-14 league win over Trabuco Hills (Mission Viejo, CA).

The Pioneers (3-5) will now prepare for their game against Cypress (Cypress, CA). The Centurions enter the Delta game with a 2-5 record. In their last game, Cypress fell by Capistrano Valley (Mission Viejo, CA), 53-22, in a league game.
