The Elba Tigers walloped the host Pleasant Home Eagles football team by a score of 56-8 in Thursday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Tigers play the Georgiana Panthers (Georgiana, AL) in a 1A Region 2 challenge, on Friday, October 18. Elba will attempt to improve on its 6-2 season record. The Panthers go into the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 43-0 league win over Red Level (Red Level, AL).
The Eagles (1-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Kinston (Kinston, AL). The Bulldogs go into the 1A Region 2 challenge with a 2-6 record. In their last challenge, Kinston was ripped by McKenzie (McKenzie, AL), 58-0, in a league challenge.
