Mississippi High School Football - Thrasher crushed by Falkner

The Falkner Eagles walloped the host Thrasher Rebels football team by a score of 53-16 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagles play the Byers Lions (Holly Springs, MS) in a 1A Region 2 challenge, on Friday, October 18. Falkner will attempt to improve on its 5-1 season record. The Lions go into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 42-21 non-league win over Potts Camp (Potts Camp, MS).

The Rebels (0-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Baldwyn (Baldwyn, MS). The Bearcats go into the 1A Region 1 challenge with a 6-1 record. In their last challenge, Baldwyn bounced East Union (Blue Springs, MS), 36-14, in a non-league challenge.
