In their next game, the Lions face the Reservoir 'Gators (Fulton, MD) in a Howard County challenge, on Thursday, October 17. Howard will attempt to improve on its 5-1 season record. The 'Gators go into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 30-0 non-league loss to Franklin (Reisterstown, MD).

The Gladiators (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against River Hill (Clarksville, MD). The Hawks go into the Howard County challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, River Hill lost by Marriotts Ridge (Marriottsville, MD), 21-7, in a league challenge.
