Pine Ridge Thorpes (Pine Ridge, SD) followers went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Todd County Falcons (Mission, SD), 50-14 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Pine Ridge advances its record to 6-1 on the season. The Thorpes travel to Tiospa Zina (Agency Village, SD) to play the Wambdi in a non-league battle on Thursday, October 17. The Wambdi go into the battle with a record of 3-4. Tiospa Zina won 44-14 in their recent league battle against Flandreau Indian (Flandreau, SD)
The Falcons now own a 5-2 record. They play next when they host Lower Brule for a non-league battle on Thursday, October 17. Todd County will play a Sioux team coming off a 78-0 league win over Crow Creek (Stephan, SD). The Sioux record now stands at 7-0.
