The Lakota East Thunderhawks got by the host Archbishop McNicholas Rockets football team by a score of 16-13 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Thunderhawks play the Lakota West Firebirds (West Chester, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, October 16. Lakota East will attempt to improve on its 5-3 season record. The Firebirds go into the challenge with a 6-1 record after their 39-13 non-league win over Oak Hills (Cincinnati, OH).
The Rockets (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Elder (Cincinnati, OH). The Panthers go into the non-league challenge with a 4-2 record.
