In Thursday's league outing, the host Shamokin Area Indians soccer squad scored a tight 4-3 victory over the Jersey Shore Bulldogs.

The Indians (5-9) will now prepare for their outing against Southern Columbia Area (Catawissa, PA). The Tigers go into the non-league outing with a 9-6 record. In their last outing, Southern Columbia Area got by Loyalsock Township (Williamsport, PA), 4-1, in a league outing.

Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Sullivan County Griffins (Laporte, PA) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, October 12. Jersey Shore will attempt to improve on its 1-13 season record. The Griffins go into the outing with a 7-8 record after their 4-3 non-league win over Meadowbrook Christian (Milton, PA).
