The Lincoln Cougars soccer squad scored 4 points and held the host University Hawks to 0 in the Cougars non-league victory on Thursday.
The Cougars now hold a 8-5 record. They play next when they travel to Preston for a Big Ten bout on Tuesday, October 15.
With the loss, University moves to 4-11 on the year. The Hawks host Fairmont Senior (Fairmont, WV) to play the Polar Bears in a Big Ten bout on Saturday, October 12. The Polar Bears go into the bout with a record of 1-12. Fairmont Senior lost 2-1 in their recent league bout against Philip Barbour (Philippi, WV)
