In Thursday's league contest, the Paul VI Panthers (Chantilly, VA) soccer team edged the host Our Lady of Good Counsel Falcons (Olney, MD), by a count of 3-2.
Next, the Panthers battle the St. John's Cadets (Washington, DC) in a Washington Catholic contest, on Tuesday, October 15. Paul VI will attempt to upgrade on its 9-0 season record.
The Falcons (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Potomac School (McLean, VA). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 2-3 record.
