The Blacksburg Bruins football squad scored 20 points and limited the host Christiansburg Blue Demons to 14 in the Bruins non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Bruins now sport a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Pulaski County for a non-league test on Wednesday, October 16. Blacksburg will meet a Cougars squad coming off a 56-0 non-league loss to Salem (Salem, VA). The Cougars record now stands at 0-3.

With the defeat, Christiansburg drops to 0-4 on the campaign. The Blue demons travel to Hidden Valley (Roanoke, VA) to meet the Titans in a non-league test on Thursday, October 17. The Titans come into the test with a record of 0-3. Hidden Valley lost 35-0 in their recent non-league test against Cave Spring (Roanoke, VA)
