The Mustangs (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Carson (China Grove, NC). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Carson was outscored by Northwest Cabarrus (Concord, NC), 12-7, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Vikings confront the West Rowan Falcons (Mt. Ulla, NC) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, October 17. Central Cabarrus will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Falcons enter the contest with a 3-4 record after their 42-29 non-league loss to Robinson (Concord, NC).
