The Cox Mill Chargers (Concord, NC) football tipped the host Mount Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, NC), 15-8 in Thursday's non-league outing.

The Chargers now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Lake Norman for a non-league match on Thursday, October 17. Cox Mill will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 16-0 non-league loss to Hickory Ridge (Harrisburg, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-3.

Coming up next, the Tigers meet the Albemarle Bulldogs (Albemarle, NC) in a non-league match, on Thursday, October 17. Mount Pleasant will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record. The Bulldogs come into the match with a 0-3 record after their 14-12 non-league loss to South Stanly (Norwood, NC).
