Georgia High School Football - Fayette County trounced by Sandy Creek

Sandy Creek Patriots (Tyrone, GA) followers went home pleased Thursday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Fayette County Tigers (Fayetteville, GA), 38-0 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Sandy Creek advances its record to 5-0 on the season. The Patriots host Northgate (Newnan, GA) to play the Vikings in a non-league battle on Thursday, October 17. The Vikings go into the battle with a record of 1-1. Northgate lost 19-7 in their recent non-league battle against Starr's Mill (Fayetteville, GA)

The Tigers now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Creekside for a non-league battle on Thursday, October 17. Fayette County will play a Seminoles team coming off a 34-20 non-league loss to Westlake (Atlanta, GA). The Seminoles record now stands at 2-3.
