The Utica Chieftains felled the visiting L'Anse Creuse North Crusaders football team by a score of 17-8 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Chieftains face the Dakota Cougars (Macomb, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 17. Utica will attempt to improve on its 5-1 season record. The Cougars go into the challenge with a 7-0 record after their 47-0 non-league win over Utica Eisenhower (Shelby Township, MI).
The Crusaders (1-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Sterling Heights Stevenson (Sterling Heights, MI). The Titans go into the non-league challenge with a 0-5 record.
