In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Ephrata Tigers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Ellensburg Bulldogs.

The Tigers (5-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Toppenish (Toppenish, WA). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 4-6 record. In their last challenge, Toppenish beat Prosser (Prosser, WA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs meet the Davis Pirates (Yakima, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 12. Ellensburg will attempt to upgrade on its 8-1 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 6-3 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Wenatchee (Wenatchee, WA).
