Steward Spartans (Richmond, VA) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Peninsula Catholic Knights (Newport News, VA), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Steward improves its record to 3-2 on the season. The Spartans host Nansemond-Suffolk Academy (Suffolk, VA) to face the Saints in a non-league test on Tuesday, October 22. The Saints go into the test with a record of 9-2.

The Knights now own a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Norfolk Academy for a test on Tuesday, October 15. Peninsula Catholic will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 2-1 league win over Nansemond-Suffolk Academy (Suffolk, VA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-1.
