Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Altamont Indians (Altamont, IL) and the visiting Pana Panthers (Pana, IL), saw Altamont's soccer squad triumph over Pana by a count of 7-1.

The Indians (11-7) will now prepare for their battle against Robinson (Robinson, IL). The Maroons enter the non-league battle with a 0-12 record. In their last battle, Robinson was overwhelmed by Richland County (Olney, IL), 2-1, in a league battle.

Next up, the Panthers battle the Vandalia Vandals (Vandalia, IL) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, October 15. Pana will attempt to upgrade on its 6-12 season record. The Vandals enter the battle with a 2-16 record after their 6-0 non-league loss to St. Anthony (Effingham, IL).
