In Thursday's non-league outing, the visiting South Elgin Storm soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Glenbard East Rams.

The Storm (5-9) will now prepare for their outing against West Aurora (Aurora, IL). The Blackhawks go into the Upstate Eight - West outing with a 14-4 record. In their last outing, West Aurora got by Kaneland (Maple Park, IL), 4-0, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Rams confront the Fenton Bison (Bensenville, IL) in a Upstate Eight - East outing, on Saturday, October 12. Glenbard East will attempt to improve on its 3-7 season record. The Bison go into the outing with a 7-7 record after their 3-0 league loss to Elmwood Park (Elmwood Park, IL).
