Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Terry Sanford Bulldogs (Fayetteville, NC) and the host Lee County Yellow Jackets (Sanford, NC), saw Terry Sanford's soccer squad hold off Lee County by a score of 5-4.

The Bulldogs (13-6) will now prepare for their battle against E.E. Smith (Fayetteville, NC). The Golden Bulls enter the All American 3A/4A battle with a 0-13 record. In their last battle, E.E. Smith was edged by Western Harnett (Lillington, NC), 1-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Yellow Jackets confront the Richmond Raiders (Rockingham, NC) in a Sandhills 3A/4A battle, on Wednesday, October 16. Lee County will attempt to improve on its 8-9 season record.
