The Mercersburg Academy Blue Storm soccer squad scored 4 points and held the host Musselman Applemen to 1 in the Blue Storm non-league victory on Thursday.
The Blue Storm now hold a 5-5 record. They play next when they host Kiski School for a non-league bout on Wednesday, October 16. Mercersburg Academy will play a Cougars squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Woodstock (Woodstock, CT). The Cougars record now stands at 8-1.
With the loss, Musselman moves to 4-8 on the year. The Applemen host Cabell Midland (Ona, WV) to clash with the Knights in a non-league test on Saturday, October 12. The Knights come into the test with a record of 9-3. Cabell Midland won 4-0 in their recent non-league test against St. Joseph Central (Huntington, WV)
