Fans at Thursday's league battle between the Richland County Tigers (Olney, IL) and the host Robinson Maroons (Robinson, IL), saw Richland County's soccer squad hold off Robinson by a count of 2-1.

The Tigers (6-15) will now prepare for their battle against Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, IL). The Rams enter the non-league battle with a 7-8 record. In their last battle, Mt. Vernon tipped Centralia (Centralia, IL), 3-2, in a league battle.

Next up, the Maroons battle the Altamont Indians (Altamont, IL) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, October 15. Robinson will attempt to upgrade on its 0-12 season record. The Indians enter the battle with a 11-7 record after their 7-1 non-league win over Pana (Pana, IL).
