The Boonville Pirates the visiting Eldon Mustangs softball squad by a count of 6-3 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Pirates meet the Centralia Panthers (Centralia, MO) in a Class 3 District 4 challenge, on Wednesday, October 16. Boonville will attempt to upgrade on its 10-17 season record. The Panthers go into the challenge with a 29-3 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Bowling Green (Bowling Green, MO).

The Mustangs (3-16) will now prepare for their challenge against Battle (Columbia, MO). The Spartans go into the non-league challenge with a 12-20 record. In their last challenge, Battle held off Kirksville (Kirksville, MO), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.
