The Eureka Wildcats softball team scored 2 runs and held the visiting Marquette Mustangs to 0 in the Wildcats non-league win on Thursday.

The Wildcats now sport a 12-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Dominic for a non-league battle on Monday, October 14. Eureka will encounter a Crusaders team coming off a 16-0 non-league win over Nerinx Hall (Webster Groves, MO). The Crusaders record now stands at 18-6.

With the loss, Marquette moves to 12-16 on the season. The Mustangs host Fort Zumwalt West (O'Fallon, MO) to encounter the Jaguars in a non-league battle on Friday, October 11.
