The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Northeast Bearcats (Cairo, MO) and the host Harrisburg Bulldogs (Harrisburg, MO), observed Northeast's softball team get by Harrisburg by a tally of 6-0.

The Bearcats (24-4) will now prepare for their bout against South Shelby (Shelbina, MO). The Cardinals go into the non-league bout with a 18-12 record. In their last bout, South Shelby tipped Clark County (Kahoka, MO), 12-6, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Knox County Eagles (Edina, MO) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, October 12. Harrisburg will attempt to advance on its 10-16 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 3-16 record after their 22-0 non-league loss to Highland (Ewing, MO).
