The Winnetonka Griffins triumphed over the visiting Raytown Bluejays softball squad by a count of 9-3 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Griffins meet the St. Teresa's Academy Stars (Kansas City, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 14. Winnetonka will attempt to upgrade on its 13-9 season record. The Stars enter the challenge with a 11-15 record after their 11-8 non-league loss to St. Michael the Archangel (Lee's Summit, MO).

The Bluejays (3-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Kearney (Kearney, MO). The Bulldogs enter the Class 4 District 5 challenge with a 23-5 record.
