The Layton Lancers prevailed the visiting American Fork Cavemen volleyball squad by a final score of 3-1 in Thursday's non-league game.

Next up, the Lancers confront the Skyline Grizzlies (Idaho Falls, ID) in a non-league game, on Friday, October 11. Layton will attempt to advance on its 12-6 season record. The Grizzlies enter the game with a 1-16 record after their 3-1 league loss to Hillcrest (Idaho Falls, ID).

The Cavemen (6-14) will now prepare for their game against Skyridge (Lehi, UT). The Falcons enter the 6A Region 3 game with a 14-9 record. In their last game, Skyridge gained a win over Salem Hills (Salem, UT), 3-2, in a non-league game.
